Marjorie Wheeler-Barclay
Marjorie Wheeler-Barclay is an American historian and university professor who is the Charles A. Dana Professor of History at Randolph College. She specializes in medieval and modern European history, with a particular emphasis on the history of Britain. She is the author of ''The Science of Religion in Britain: 1860–1915'', a book that has been called a "major contribution to the history of ideas, the history of religion, and British history".〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.upress.virginia.edu/books/wheeler-barclay.HTM )〕 The work, first printed in 2010, studies the lives of Friedrich Max Muller, Edward B. Tylor, Andrew Lang, William Robertson Smith, James G.
